A teacher for 25 years, I have taught people of any age - preschoolers to senior citizens. Every age has a different challenge in regards to teaching but I thrive on this variety and it keeps me going. I tutor Spanish at all levels, beginning French, and have a passion for languages in general. It is a great thing to learn, speak, and teach them. I always aim to connect with my students as a tutor, figure out what they need to do, and identify their strengths and weaknesses in addition to their way of learning. I can then custom tailor a lesson to any need or learning style.I have a Bachelor of Arts in Romance Language Education from Olivet Nazarene University and have a master's degree from Wayne State University in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture. My extensive education and flexible teaching style mean I have a lot to offer as a tutor and can help one achieve their goals no matter what they are, at any stage of their lives, in gaining Spanish proficiency. Marysville, Michigan is my home and in my spare time I love to travel. My interests also include aerobics and fitness, reading, scrapbooking, and cats.
